Another thing that really bothered me was his “supposed” infidelity a week into the marriage; it is suggested between the lines, that due to Jason’s backstory, he would not cheat AFTER the marriage but it’s okay BEFORE?!

Just not a favorite for me. His thick hair was coal black, his awlays eyes the green of India jade, his lips firm and sensually molded. Add a feisty, incredibly warm and sweet heroine from America, a dashing, dangerous hero with a tortured past, meddling relatives and a ton debut and you get this book!

To make this work they would have to both take a leap of faith If I had read this one now, I definitely would’ve hated it.

I wanted to love it again.

This mixture of brilliance at both masculine and feminine accomplishments is what makes her perfect and why she is loved by everyone. It mcnauyht me get teary to think about.

There was an unmistakable aura of virility about Jason that made female hearts flutter. McNaught’s gift with emotions made this very hard to read.
